Jae-Im Kim, an abstract expressionist painter and collage artist from Seoul, South Korea, visits Beeson Divinity School from Overseas Ministries Study Center, where she is the 2009-10 artist-in-residence. She is a member of the Korean Fine Arts Association, the Korean Women Painters Association and the Asian Christian Art Association. She held her first solo exhibition in Seoul in 1960 after graduating from Seoul National University. She has held 24 solo exhibitions and has been a part of 30 others around the world. Her work has been exhibited extensively in Europe and Asia.
