Lay Academy of Theology presents...

Boot Camp for Christian Writers

Boot Camp for Christian Writers is a no-nonsense, basic, information-packed, series of all-day seminars that educate and equip Christian writers to write clearly, communicate effectively to a chosen audience, professionally approach magazine editors and book publishers with good ideas, and get articles and books published!

These seminars are sponsored by Beeson Divinity School’s Lay Academy of Theology and are open to everyone. They are founded and taught by authors Denise George (author of 25 books and more than 1,500 magazine articles), and Carolyn Tomlin (author of 8 books and more than 3,600 magazine articles).

The Boot Camp for Christian Writers seminars are based on Colossians 3:12-17 and (Col. 3:23-24): “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men…It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Hundreds of people have already participated in these information-packed seminars! They are writing confidently, contacting editors with magazine and book ideas, selling articles to magazines, and receiving book contracts from major publishers! Attend one of our Boot Camp for Christian Writers seminars and become a lifetime member of our “Family of Christian Writers!”
