Tuition, Fees and  Scholarships


2011-2012

For 2011-2012, the minimum scholarship award is $2125 per semester. Approximately 75% of incoming Beeson students receive this award level. The John Wesley Beeson scholarship of $3500 per semester is awarded to 15% of new students, and the Dean’s Scholarship of $4845 per semester is awarded to 10% of new students. In other words, all full-time M.Div. and M.A.T.S. students receive scholarships covering between 40-95% of tuition costs.

 
Beeson tuition rates for masters programs in 2011-2012 are as follows:

Fall and Spring semesters

$ 4845/semester for Dean’s Scholars (cost remaining to student $254)

 

$3500/ semester for John Wesley Beeson Merit Scholars (cost remaining to student $1599)

$2125/ semester for all other students (Ralph Waldo Beeson Scholars, cost remaining to student $2974 )

*Following the acceptance of a student, Beeson asks for a $200 deposit as confirmation of your intention to enroll for the coming semester. The deposit will be applied toward your student account upon enrollment.

Other Financial Aid
Current and prospective divinity students are highly encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine their eligibility for need-based aid programs such as federal work-study jobs and federal student loans. Follow the link above to access the form directly or contact Samford's Office of Financial Aid to get more information about need-based awards.
 
Processing time for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is up to four weeks. The FAFSA report is necessary for all student loan programs available through Samford University.
